Three-part security for your Airstream coupler

This Proven Industries lock is made up of three components: an inner slide, an exterior shield and a puck lock. Fitted together, they cover the coupler to help secure a parked trailer or caravan against theft.

Hardened parts and a protected key

The locking parts are hardened steel, and the maker states that the exterior cover is designed to stand up to bolt cutters, saws, hammers, crowbars and power tools. The pin-tumbler lock uses a special key design described as resisting picking, with an interior mechanism intended to deter key copying. Listed materials include hardened and stainless steel.

Made for one specific fitment

Model 2517-AS is custom-made for select 2 5/16 inch Airstream couplers from 2020 to 2023 and will only mount on those. The assembled lock measures around 20.7 x 13.7 x 18.3 cm and is finished in black. Proven Industries designs and manufactures its locks in the USA.

How to use

Fit the inner slide to your coupler and engage the latch. Place the exterior shield over the coupler so the two slide tabs line up, then fit the puck lock over the tabs to secure it.
