NAC with added selenium
N-acetyl-cysteine, or NAC, is a stable form of the non-essential amino acid cysteine. This formula pairs it with selenium, a trace mineral.
What the label says
The brand labels the capsules non-GMO, kosher and halal. The shell is hypromellose with stearic acid, citric acid and microcrystalline cellulose, and the label states there are no wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients.

How to use

Before you choose
NAC may interact with certain medications, including ACE inhibitors and angina medications such as nitroglycerin and isosorbide. It may also interact with activated charcoal.
