NOW Foods Sodium Ascorbate Powder, a vitamin C powder taken by the half-teaspoon, in a 1.36 kg (3 lb) tub.

Product details

Vitamin C in a buffered powder

Sodium ascorbate is a buffered form of vitamin C that is non-bitter and non-acidic, which makes it a gentler-tasting powder than plain ascorbic acid. This NOW product has no other ingredients, and it is listed as non-GMO, vegetarian and vegan, and kosher.

Bulk tub and quality details

The tub holds 3 lb (1.36 kg) of powder, so it suits regular use or sharing a supply across a household. NOW packages and quality tests it in the USA, and the company has been family owned since 1968.

How to use

Take 1/2 level teaspoon daily.

Before you choose

For adults only. The tub is sold by weight rather than volume. Natural colour variation may occur, and it is produced in a facility that also processes other ingredients containing common allergens. Store in a cool, dry place after opening. Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
