L-lysine amino acid supplement providing 500 mg per vegetarian capsule, in a large bottle of 250.

Product details

A single amino acid in a plain capsule

Lysine is an essential amino acid, so the body cannot make it and it must come from food or supplements. NOW describes this L-lysine as pharmaceutical grade, and the label lists it as non-GMO, vegetarian and vegan, kosher and halal.

Capsule details and routine

The suggested use is one capsule one to three times a day, so a bottle of 250 capsules is a long-lasting supply. The capsule is hypromellose (cellulose), with stearic acid from a vegetable source, microcrystalline cellulose and rice flour as the other ingredients. Natural colour variation may occur between batches.

How to use

Take 1 capsule 1 to 3 times daily.
