A copper core draws heat away and ribbed ceramic insulation guards against flashover, in a pair of plugs for listed Argo, Case IH and John Deere models.
Product details
Copper core with a ceramic insulator
The BPR4ES uses a copper core to help draw heat away and a pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator. Corrugated ribs on the insulator are designed to prevent flashover, and the shell has trivalent metal plating to resist corrosion and seizing in the cylinder head.
For small engines and equipment
These are standard series plugs listed for select Argo, Case IH and John Deere models from 2010 to 2024. They suit owners who maintain their own machinery and want a direct replacement by part number.
What comes in the pack
The pack holds two plugs under NGK stock number 6578, type BPR4ES. The plugs come pre-gapped from the factory.
How to use
Make sure the engine is switched off, remove the old plug with a spark plug socket and fit the new one by hand before tightening. The plugs come pre-gapped. Check the part against your equipment manual before fitting.
Before you choose
Check the fit against your equipment manual before ordering. Although pre-gapped, the gap should be checked and adjusted if needed before installation. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
