This castile soap is made from coconut oil with certified organic olive, jojoba and argan oils, finished with mixed tocopherols (vitamin E). It contains no detergents or foaming agents, and Mild By Nature describes it as pH balanced and cruelty free. It is formulated without animal by-products, artificial colours or fragrances, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, formaldehyde, gluten, GMOs or soy.

One concentrated bottle for the whole household

Because it is concentrated, a few drops go a long way. Beyond face, body and hair, it can be diluted for hand washing, poured into a bath or added to a foot soak, which makes it handy for a simple, low-clutter bathroom.

How to use

Face: put 2 or 3 drops on your hands, apply to a wet face, massage in and rinse. Body: lather a small amount on a wet flannel or hands over wet skin and rinse. Hair: use a few drops for short hair or up to half a tablespoon for long hair, either directly or pre-diluted in a cup of water, then lather and rinse. Hands: dilute 1 part soap with 10 parts water. Bath: add about 2 tablespoons to an average bath; it will not bubble but still cleans. Foot bath: add half a tablespoon to a small tub of hot water.

Before you choose

Keep out of the eyes; if contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes. Stop using if irritation occurs and see a doctor if it persists. Keep away from children. Do not squeeze the bottle too hard, as excess soap can spray out. Store in a cool, dry place. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
