The first step in Joico's Colorful routine
This shampoo is the first step of a two-part routine, designed to be followed by the matching Joico Colorful conditioner. It uses the brand's SmartRelease technology, and Joico says it cleanses gently while nourishing, to help colour last longer.
Sulfate-free in the SLS/SLES sense
The manufacturer states the formula is free of SLS and SLES (sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate). Cleansing comes instead from surfactants including sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate and cocamidopropyl betaine, alongside hydrolysed keratin, rosehip oil and camellia seed oil.

The bottle holds 300 ml (10.1 fl oz) and measures about 20.6 x 5 x 4.8 cm.
How to use
Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse. Follow with the Colorful conditioner.
Before you choose
The formula is free of SLS and SLES but does contain other cleansing agents, so check the full list if you avoid all sulfates. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Fragrance is included. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
