Mastic gum is a resinous exudate from the mastic tree (Pistacia lentiscus), also called mastiha, a shrub-like tree grown mainly in Greece and Turkey. Jarrow Formulas notes that the resin contains essential oils and has been used for centuries.

Vegan capsule and allergen notes

The capsule is hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, with microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate from a vegetable source and silicon dioxide. The label states there is no wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts or sesame.

How to use
