Etude states that 98.3% of this formula is made up of moisturising ingredients. It has a refreshing, water-like texture that absorbs quickly, so it adds hydration straight after cleansing without feeling heavy or tacky on the skin.

Why panthenol and madecassoside are here

Panthenol is included to support the skin barrier and comfort dry skin, while madecassoside is there to soothe skin that feels irritated and help protect it from outside stimuli. Etude calls this pairing Panthensoside, and it sits at the centre of the formula.

Made without ten common additives

The formula is free from ten additives: animal-derived ingredients, mineral oil, polyacrylamide, imidazolidinyl urea, triethanolamine, synthetic pigment, silicone oil, parabens, fragrance and PEG surfactants. The manufacturer also describes it as non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. This is the newer version of the toner, in a 200 ml bottle.

How to use

Soak a cotton pad with the toner and pat it over cleansed skin, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Use morning and evening.
