A tinted balm with a heart-shaped centre

This e.l.f. lip balm pairs two textures in one stick. The outer shell carries a hint of colour, while a heart-shaped inner core is there to condition and moisturise dry lips. As it melts on contact, it leaves a light tint rather than full lipstick coverage.

An easy everyday lip step

Use it as you would a regular balm, whenever lips feel dry, with the bonus of a sheer wash of the Happy shade. Vitamin E is included to help nourish lips. It is one of eight shades in the Hydrating Core Lip Shine range.

Size and brand notes

The stick weighs 0.09 oz (about 2.55 g), a compact size for a pocket or bag. e.l.f. states the product is vegan and cruelty-free.

How to use

Glide the balm over bare lips for a sheer wash of colour, working from the centre outwards. Reapply as often as you like, over lip products or on its own.

Before you choose

This gives sheer colour, so it will not deliver the depth of a lipstick. Contains vitamin E; if lip irritation occurs, stop using it. The formula contains fragrance. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
