Dual Duty thread has a polyester core wrapped in a polyester cover, a construction used for strength. It is a general-purpose thread intended for a wide range of sewing projects rather than one specialist fabric.

A versatile colour to keep in stock

Black suits repairs, hems and garment making on dark fabrics, so a full spool is useful to keep in the sewing box. The thread is 100% polyester and is model 230A-2.

What comes in the pack

You receive one spool holding 400 yards, or 365 metres, of black thread. That is enough for a good number of general sewing and mending jobs before a new spool is needed.

How to use

Place the spool on your sewing machine's spool pin or keep it to hand for hand sewing, then thread the needle and sew as normal. Use it for general repairs, hems and garment making on dark fabrics.
