This micellar water lifts makeup and impurities onto a cotton pad, so there is no need to rinse afterwards. It is designed for face and eye makeup, sunscreen residue and pollution particles, and can be used morning and/or evening. The pack holds one 384 ml (13 fl oz) CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water.

Hyaluronic acid and ceramides in a gentle formula

Hyaluronic acid is included to help skin feel hydrated, and the formula contains three essential ceramides (1, 3 and 6-II), which CeraVe says help maintain the skin's natural barrier. It is alcohol-free, fragrance-free, oil-free and non-comedogenic, and the brand describes it as suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

How to use

Saturate a cotton pad or reusable cotton round. To remove eye makeup, hold the pad over the closed eye for a few seconds, then wipe gently without harsh rubbing. For everyday cleansing, wipe the pad over the skin until it comes away clean. Use morning and/or evening.

Before you choose

This is a cosmetic cleansing water for external use only, and results vary from person to person. It is a micellar water, so it is not a replacement for a rinse-off cleanser if you prefer to wash your face with water. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
