Centrum Women 50+ combines 23 vitamins and minerals in one tablet, including all 13 essential vitamins. Centrum says the formula is designed around the changing nutritional needs of women at this life stage. Nutrients named in the formula include vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, vitamin B6, biotin and selenium.

The manufacturer states the tablets are free from wheat, lactose, nuts and gluten. The formula contains iron, and its colours are E 120 and E 132, which is worth noting if you avoid specific colourings.

What comes in the pack

Each box holds 30 tablets in a sealed container, which is a month's supply at one tablet a day. The carton measures roughly 4.9 x 7.75 x 9.7 cm, and the best-before date is printed on the side.

How to use

Take one tablet a day with a glass of water, ideally with food. Replace the lid after each use.

This is a general multivitamin for adult women over 50; it is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It contains iron, which can be harmful to children in large amounts. If you take other supplements, check their labels, as they may contain the same nutrients. The inner container is sealed for safety, so do not use it if the foil is broken. Food supplement.
