Caffeine ChewsCaffeine Bullet 85mg Caffeine Chews Chocolate Orange 16 Count

A lower-dose caffeine chew

This chocolate orange version of Caffeine Bullet carries 85 mg of caffeine per chew, a little less than the brand's 100 mg mint option, which may suit those who want a lighter amount. The chews are made to be chewed rather than swallowed, as an alternative to gels, drinks or tablets during training or events such as running, cycling and triathlon.

Flavour and calories

Cocoa mass and chocolate orange oil give the flavour, and each chew contains under 35 kcal, according to the manufacturer. The recipe is based on glucose syrup and sugar.

What comes in the pack

There are 16 chews, split into four packets of four for carrying in a pocket or kit bag. They are made in the UK.

How to use

The manufacturer suggests one or two chews just before exercise or during longer sessions.

Before you choose

A full packet of four contains 340 mg of caffeine. Not suitable for children. Do not take with other caffeinated products. Do not use if pregnant or if you have a medical condition. The recommended daily caffeine limit for adults is 400 mg, so count any caffeine from coffee, tea or energy drinks too. Contains egg.
