BUIE gathers this golden sea moss by hand from the waters around St. Lucia, then sun-dries it naturally. The manufacturer states it is never pool-grown and contains no additives, preservatives or fillers. The pack holds the dried seaweed alone, ready to prepare at home.

Blend it into food and drinks

Sea moss can be blended into smoothies, teas, soups or juices, a tablespoon or two at a time. It can also be prepared as a gel, and the manufacturer says this pack makes more than 30 oz.

A cosmetic use too

Beyond the kitchen, the manufacturer suggests mixing sea moss with water or aloe vera gel to make a simple face mask. The 56 g net weight comes in a pack of about 70 g in total.

How to use

Blend 1-2 tablespoons into smoothies, teas, soups or juices. For a face mask, mix 1-2 tablespoons with water or aloe vera gel, apply to the face and rinse off after 15-20 minutes.
