Filtration media that holds on to dirt

The 3300 uses Bosch FILTECH media to screen out and retain dirt and particles from engine oil, with a stated capacity of up to 14 grams. A metal spiral-wound centre tube supports the media from inside for added strength.

Housing built to stay sealed

A steel base plate and housing are designed to resist warping and leaks. The silicone anti-drain back valve helps keep oil in the filter when the engine is off, so clean oil is supplied at start-up.

Easier oil changes

A high-lubricity gasket gives a tight seal in use but is meant to come away easily at the next oil change. One spin-on filter is supplied, manufacturer part number 3300.

How to use

Drain the old oil as set out in your vehicle handbook, remove the old filter and wipe the mounting surface clean. Fit the new filter by hand to the tightness your handbook gives, then refill with oil.

Before you choose

Fitment depends on the vehicle, trim level and engine. The source lists fitment for selected Chevrolet, Honda, Infiniti, Kia and Mazda models, among others, which are largely US-market vehicles.
