Nano-hydroxyapatite in place of fluoride

Boka builds this toothpaste around nano-hydroxyapatite, a form of the same mineral that the brand says makes up most of the tooth. The formula leaves out fluoride, sulphates, parabens and artificial flavours and colours, and Boka describes it as vegan.

A milder mint flavour

Ela Mint blends mild mint with green tea and a hint of cardamom, giving a fresh taste without a sharp minty bite. It is sweetened with xylitol and stevia, and the oils include peppermint, spearmint, star anise and wintergreen.

For everyday family brushing

Boka describes the toothpaste as suitable for sensitive teeth and for daily use across the family. The tube is listed with a weight of 113.4 g, and the pack measures about 17.8 x 5.3 x 3.8 cm.

How to use

Wet your toothbrush and add a pea-sized amount. Brush all tooth surfaces in circular motions for two minutes, then spit out the excess and rinse your mouth thoroughly. Use twice a day.
