Seven strands of stainless steel wire with a nylon coat give beads a natural drape and resist kinking, on a 30 ft length.

Product details

Drape and strength for strung designs

This wire is built for good drape, strength and resistance to kinking, so strung beads hang naturally and the strand keeps its line. It is well suited to necklaces and bracelets, as well as wider DIY craft projects and everyday bead stringing.

Finishing your pieces

Use crimp beads and clasps to secure the ends and complete a design. The seven fine micro-strands sit under a smooth nylon coating, which makes threading beads straightforward, and the polished bright stainless steel finish blends with silver-tone findings.

Length and thickness

The spool holds 30 ft of wire with a .015 in (0.38 mm) diameter. Beadalon makes the wire in the USA and states it has been producing beading wire since 1976.

How to use

Cut a length from the spool and thread on your beads in the order you want. Finish each end with a crimp bead and a clasp, then trim off any spare wire. It suits necklaces, bracelets and other strung craft projects.
