Product details

A fresh chain for a tired bike

When a chain is stretched, rusty or damaged, this heavy-duty Schwinn chain is built to take over. Its anti-drop design is intended to keep the chain secure while you ride, so you can get back to regular cycling with confidence.

Fit it yourself

It suits most adult single-speed bicycles, including race bikes as well as BMX and cruisers. It works with the Schwinn Chain Tool and other chain tools, so you can size and fit it yourself at home without a workshop visit.

Size and weight

The chain is 1/2 x 1/8 inch with 112 links and weighs about 12.3 oz. One chain is supplied.

How to use

Remove the old chain, then feed the new chain around the sprocket and chainring of your single-speed bike. Size it with a chain tool, join the ends and check it turns freely. Fit it yourself at home.

Before you choose

This chain is not for bikes with gears and a derailleur. Check your bike's chain size and link count before ordering, and remove links if your bike needs a shorter chain. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
