Authentic Ayurvedic Tongue ScraperAuromere Authentic Ayurvedic Tongue Scraper, 1 Scraper

A traditional tongue-cleaning tool

Tongue scraping is a long-standing Ayurvedic oral hygiene practice, and this scraper is designed to remove the coating of debris that builds up on the tongue. The brand says it works more thoroughly than brushing the tongue with a toothbrush, and that it helps freshen the mouth.

Stainless steel with no plastic

The scraper is made from surgical grade stainless steel with non-rubber handles, and the brand describes it as plastic-free and made from recyclable materials. Because it is a single piece of steel, it is easy to wash, and the brand states it is dishwasher safe.

How to use

Hold a handle in each hand, place the scraper on the tongue as far back as is comfortable and scrape gently but firmly outwards several times. Rinse your mouth and the scraper with warm water afterwards, and wash it with soap and hot water before use.

Before you choose

Scrape gently and stop if you feel any discomfort. It is a single reusable tool, not a toothbrush or mouthwash. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
