Organic Kale Powder Wilderness Poets Organic Kale Powder 226 g (8 oz)

A lot of fresh kale in a small bag

Wilderness Poets says each half-pound bag is made from at least 2.5 pounds (about 1.1 kg) of fresh organic kale, simply dehydrated into a powder. That makes it an easy way to keep leafy greens in the cupboard when fresh kale is not to hand. The brand certifies it organic through Organic Certifiers, and it is vegan and non-GMO.

Stir it into drinks or cooking

A tablespoon mixes into water, juice or a green smoothie, and it can also go into soups, sauces or salad dressings. Because it is light and dry, the brand also suggests packing it for camping and backpacking trips.

What is in a serving

A 1 tbsp (7 g) serving gives about 20 calories, 2 g protein, 4 g carbohydrate and 1 g fibre, with 32 servings per bag. The bag measures roughly 14.7 x 13 x 7.1 cm and holds 226 g (8 oz).

How to use

Mix 1 tbsp into water, juice or a smoothie, or add it to soups, sauces or salad dressing.

Before you choose

This is a plain vegetable powder, not a blended greens supplement. It is made in a facility that processes various tree nuts. The label carries a California Proposition 65 notice about lead. Store in a cool, dry place. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
