Three heavier-flow absorbencies in one box

This Tampax Pearl trio combines Super, Super Plus and Ultra tampons, so you can change absorbency as your flow shifts over the course of a period. Tampax suggests moving up an absorbency if you notice leaks and down one if removal feels uncomfortable.

Design details

Each tampon has a LeakGuard Braid intended to help stop leaks, and Tampax FormFit protection that gently expands to your shape. The plastic applicator is BPA-free and has an anti-slip grip to make insertion easier. The manufacturer states the tampons are free from dyes, perfume, natural rubber latex, BPA and elemental chlorine bleaching.

What comes in the pack

The box holds 34 unscented tampons across the three absorbencies, measuring about 15.6 x 8.4 x 14.4 cm and weighing around 200 g. They are made in the USA.

How to use

Insert the tampon using the applicator. Change it every 4 to 8 hours and do not wear one for longer than 8 hours at a time.

Before you choose

Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), a rare but serious illness. Read and keep the leaflet inside the pack, and always use the lowest absorbency needed for your flow. These are higher absorbencies, so they may not suit lighter days. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
