Sweet Sweat is a solid gel you spread in a thin layer over chosen areas before a session, and the manufacturer says it is activated as your heart rate rises. It can be used across cardio, weight training, circuit training, HIIT, Pilates, yoga, spin, and dry or infrared saunas.

An oil and wax base

The base combines petrolatum and Brazilian carnauba wax with organic coconut, castor and jojoba oils, camelina oil, olive-derived squalane, aloe vera extract and vitamin E. This Original version contains added fragrance. The manufacturer lists it as Leaping Bunny certified and cruelty free.

Size of the tub

The tub holds 181 g (6.4 oz) and measures roughly 19.2 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm, so it fits in a gym bag.

How to use

Before exercising or using a sauna, apply a thin layer over the target areas without rubbing it in. Skin should be clean and free of creams, lotions or other topical products, as these hinder the gel. Wear loose clothing over it to reduce friction, then exercise as usual and wipe off with a towel before showering. The manufacturer suggests pairing it with its waist, arm and thigh trimmers, sold separately.

This is a topical workout gel, not a weight-loss product or medicine. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and stop use if irritation occurs. The gel can mark clothing, so use a pre-wash stain remover when needed. Heat can liquefy it; if that happens, let it set again at room temperature or in the fridge, and do not leave it in a car or direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
