L-methylfolate rather than folic acid

This tablet uses Metafolin, a branded form of L-methylfolate. The manufacturer describes it as bio-identical to the active form of folate, so it does not need to be converted first. Each tablet provides 1,000 mcg.

The label describes the tablet as suitable for vegans, kosher parve and certified gluten free, and free of wheat, dairy, soy, yeast, sugar, sodium, artificial flavour, preservatives and colour. The 120 tablet bottle gives four months at one tablet a day.

How to use

As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) tablet daily, preferably with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
