Heavy Duty Scrub SpongesScotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges, Pack of 6

For the heavier jobs in the kitchen

These Scotch-Brite sponges are made for tougher scrubbing, such as uncoated pots and pans, hob grates, oven racks and outdoor barbecue grills. The manufacturer says they give three times the scrubbing power of other leading sponges and last three times longer than a leading value brand, based on its own tests.

A shape that reaches into corners

Each sponge has an S-shaped profile that gives a comfortable grip and helps you work into corners and edges. The scrubbing fibres are made from 100% recycled plastic, according to 3M.

Easy to freshen up

Rather than replacing a sponge as soon as it looks tired, you can sanitise it on the top rack of the dishwasher or by boiling, and the manufacturer says this can be done 20 times or more. The pack contains six sponges.

How to use

Rinse the sponge thoroughly before and after each use and squeeze it dry. Sanitise in the dishwasher or by boiling when needed.

Before you choose

These are abrasive scrubbers, so they are not suitable for every surface. Do not use on stainless steel appliances, and do not put them in the microwave. They may scratch, so test on a hidden area first and let it dry to check for damage. Not for aquarium use. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
