A5 Hardcover SketchbookSakura A5 Hardcover Sketchbook, 160 Pages, Black, Cream Paper

A sketchbook for visual journaling

Stitch binding lets the book lie flat, so you can draw or paint across a full spread without fighting the spine. An expandable pocket inside the back cover holds loose notes, tickets or reference cuttings, which suits travel journals and sketch diaries.

Inspired by Japanese ink

The black hardcover takes its inspiration from sumi-iro, the traditional Japanese ink colour. An elastic band keeps the book closed in a bag, and a ribbon marks your place.

Size and paper

The book is A5, about 5.1 x 8.3 inches, with 160 pages of 140 GSM cream paper. The paper has a warmer cream tone rather than bright white.

How to use

Open the book flat and draw, paint or write across the cream pages. Keep loose notes or cuttings in the pocket at the back, mark your place with the ribbon and close the elastic band to keep it shut in a bag.

Before you choose

The cream paper will change how colours look compared with white paper. The listing does not say how the paper handles wet media, so test paints or markers on a back page first. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
