This ColorStay Limitless Matte liquid lipstick has an applicator with a pointed tip, designed for outlining the cupid's bow and following the natural contour of the lips. You then use the same applicator to fill in with a thin, even layer. Give it 30 to 45 seconds to dry before you press your lips together.

Shade 003 Upper Hand and the formula behind it

This is shade 003 Upper Hand, in a 5 ml (0.17 fl oz) tube. Revlon calls it a comfortable matte, and the ingredient list includes sodium hyaluronate, castor seed oil, sunflower seed wax and cranberry fruit extract.

The formula is built to stay put once set, with Revlon quoting up to 24 hours of wear. Real-world wear varies with meals, drinks and application, and you will need an oil-based remover or make-up wipes to take it off at the end of the day.

How to use
