A matte lip that stays put

Revlon describes this as a no-budge matte formula that still feels comfortable, with wear of up to 24 hours. The ingredient list includes sodium hyaluronate, castor seed oil, sunflower seed wax and cranberry fruit extract alongside the long-wear base. It is made in the USA with US and non-US components.

An applicator with two sides

The applicator is shaped with a pointed tip for tracing the cupid's bow and lip line, and a lip-hugging side for filling in. That lets you define and colour the lips with one tool, without needing a separate liner.

Shade and size

This tube is shade 002 Poster Child and holds 5 ml (0.17 fl oz). Boxed, it measures about 10.2 x 1.9 x 1.9 cm.

How to use

Trace your cupid's bow and the outline of your lips with the pointed tip, then fill in with a thin, even coat using the lip-hugging side of the applicator. Let it dry for 30 to 45 seconds without pressing your lips together. Remove with an oil-based make-up remover or make-up wipes.

Before you choose

This is a matte, long-wear liquid lipstick, so it dries down rather than staying glossy, and it needs an oil-based remover to take off. The formula contains fragrance, including limonene and linalool, so check the ingredients if you have known sensitivities. Check the shade before ordering.
