Product details

Softer newborn nappies with organic cotton in the backsheet

Pura has updated its smallest nappy with organic cotton in the backsheet and a breathable top layer made with plant-based materials. Inside, an absorbent core with stay-dry channels draws moisture away from the skin, and the manufacturer states it gives up to 12 hours of leak protection for naps and overnight sleep.

Designed to contain newborn messes

A pouch at the back, which Pura calls the Blowout Blocker, works with a stretchy waistband and leg cuffs to help keep poo inside the nappy. The snug, flexible fit is shaped to move with your baby during the day and at night.

Made without the extras

The nappies are totally chlorine-free and made without fragrance, lotion or natural rubber latex. The manufacturer states they are Allergy UK approved, dermatologically tested and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Listed materials include wood pulp, a super-absorbent polymer, plant-based polyethylene, cotton and elastane.

What comes in the pack

The paper pack holds 28 Size 0 nappies for babies under 4kg. Pura is a B Corp and says its nappies are made using green electricity and packed in recyclable paper.

How to use

Change nappies often, and always straight away after a poo. Remove the used nappy, wrap it securely and put it in your household waste. Do not flush.

Before you choose

These are sized for the smallest newborns, so a growing baby will move up to the next size. To avoid the danger of suffocation, keep the packaging away from babies and children. Stop using if irritation occurs, and store in a cool, dry place.
