Natural Science Digestive Support Oxbow Natural Science Digestive Support for Small Animals

A hay-based tab for small pets

This supplement is built on timothy grass with oat and barley flours, then adds ginger root, dried chicory root and chamomile. Oxbow states it contains no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, and that it was formulated with the guidance of veterinarians and nutritionists.

For rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals

The maker lists feeding amounts by animal: rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas, rats, and hamsters and gerbils each have their own daily tab allowance. Analytical values on the label are crude protein 14.00%, crude fat 6.00%, crude fibre 11.00% and crude ash 5.00%.

How to use

Depending on weight, feed rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas half to 2 tabs a day. Rats should have a quarter tab a day, and hamsters and gerbils one eighth of a tab a day.

Before you choose

This is a supplement for small animals only, not for human consumption, and is not a replacement for a balanced diet with plenty of hay. Check the label for the correct amount for your pet's weight and consult a vet if unsure. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
