Spoons babies can hold for themselves

These NumNum spoons are made for little hands that are just starting solids. The thick, contoured handle gives a secure, no-slip grip, so your baby can practise bringing food to their mouth with less frustration. The manufacturer lists them for ages 6 to 18 months.

Two tips for two textures

The flat Pre-Spoon suits purees, and the manufacturer notes it can also be used as a teether. The second spoon has an open-channel GOOtensil design that is made to grip soft solids, helping food stay on during the trip from bowl to mouth.

What comes in the pack

You get two baby spoons, one in beige and one in mauve. Both are made from food-grade silicone that is free from BPA and phthalates, and they are dishwasher safe.

How to use

Load a small amount of food on the spoon and let your baby grip the thick handle to bring it to their mouth. Wash the spoons after each meal and keep them clean and dry.

Before you choose
