A fish oil concentrate with 500 mg of EPA and 250 mg of DHA per softgel, in fish gelatin rather than bovine or porcine.

Product details

Concentrated fish oil with a stated EPA and DHA content

Ultra Omega-3 is a fish oil concentrate that lists 500 mg of EPA and 250 mg of DHA in each softgel. The oil comes from anchovies and sardines, sourced from Peru, Morocco, Mauritania and South Africa, and the manufacturer says it is molecularly distilled and tested for contaminants.

Softgel material and pack size

The softgel uses fish gelatin from tilapia and basa instead of bovine or porcine gelatin, with glycerin, water, lemon oil and d-alpha tocopherol from sunflower. The brand lists it as non-GMO and halal, and NOW is a member of GOED. A bottle of 180 lasts 90 to 180 days at one to two softgels a day.

How to use

Take 1 softgel 1 to 2 times daily with food.
