Nattokinase is an enzyme isolated from natto, a traditional Japanese fermented soy food. NOW's version is derived from non-GMO soy and provides 2,000 FU (fibrinolytic units) of activity per 100 mg serving.

The capsule is a cellulose shell, and the label describes the product as vegetarian/vegan and kosher, with no vitamin K. A bottle of 120 capsules gives 60 to 120 days at the suggested one to two capsules a day.

How to use

Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily on an empty stomach. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.

Do not use if pregnant or nursing, if you take blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants such as aspirin, warfarin or heparin), or if you have any ongoing bleeding or coagulation problem, including active ulcer, recent surgery or trauma, or haemophilia.
