Each softgel contains 450 mg of milk thistle extract, giving 360 mg of silymarin, which NOW says is three times the extract in its regular-strength 150 mg capsule. NOW uses a softgel format for solubility.

The shell is bovine gelatin (BSE-free), glycerin, water and organic caramel colour, around organic sunflower oil and sunflower lecithin. NOW lists the product as non-GMO, kosher and halal, notes it contains bovine-derived ingredients, and says it is made and quality tested in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. The bottle holds 120 softgels, which is 120 days at one a day.

How to use

Take 1 softgel daily. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
