Gentle Pressure Weighted Sleep Mask nodpod Gentle Pressure Weighted Sleep Mask

Weighted pods instead of a strap

This mask uses four weighted pods that rest across the eyes and head, spreading a gentle, even pressure with no straps or Velcro to fiddle with. It is described as suitable for side and back sleepers, and the blackout design works in any position.

Fabrics and filling

One side is breathable jersey cotton and the other plush microfleece, so you can turn it to the feel you prefer. The pods are filled with BPA-free microbeads, and the manufacturer states all materials are OEKO-TEX certified. It can also be cooled in the freezer for a cool feel.

Looking after it

This version is cleaned by hand rather than in the washing machine, so it suits someone happy to spot-clean. Storing it somewhere cool and dry between uses helps keep it in good condition.

How to use

Lay the mask gently over your eyes. To clean, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent; do not machine wash it or submerge it in water. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Before you choose

Avoid using or leaving the mask in high heat or near heat sources. It is a comfort sleep accessory, not a medical device. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
