A seal that holds through washing and showering

Each Max Hold bandage is shaped to seal all the way around a minor cut, and the manufacturer states it stays on for up to 48 hours until you choose to take it off. The adhesive is designed to hold through handwashing, showering and active days of walking, running or work. That makes it a practical choice for small wounds on parts of the body that get wet often.

Flexible film for awkward spots

The low-profile film sits close to the skin and bends as you move, so it can be used on heels, hands, knees and fingers where ordinary plasters tend to lift at the edges. Because it is thin and clear, it stays discreet once applied. Nexcare is a 3M brand.

What comes in the pack

The box holds 40 clear bandages in a mix of sizes and shapes, which makes it easy to keep a home, car or travel first aid kit stocked. The bandages are not made with natural rubber latex.

How to use

Gently clean the wound first. Take a bandage out of the packaging, peel off the backing and place it over the wound so it fits snugly, then press down the edges to seal it. Throw away the backing and wrapper.
