A refill for the Volumecurl Metal Maxicara

This is the refill version of Neogen's Extra Volumecurl Metal Maxicara, from the Dermalogy range. It uses the same idea of metal bristles that coat lashes strand by strand, aiming for a lifted, voluminous look that holds all day.

Classic black for definition

Shade 01 Black is the deeper option, using black iron oxide for colour. Alongside the film-forming waxes and polymers, the formula lists crambe maritima leaf extract, chondrus crispus extract and hydrolysed silk.

Size and format

The refill holds 4 ml (0.13 fl oz). It comes in a compact box measuring about 9 x 2.9 x 2.8 cm.

How to use

Start the metal brush applicator at the root of the lashes and brush upwards to lay down an even coat from base to tip.
