A flavoured magnesium drink mix for children

Mag Kidz is a sugar-free powder from the Animal Parade children's range, designed to be stirred into water or juice. Each serving of 3.8 g, about one teaspoon, provides 100 mg of magnesium in the form of magnesium citrate.

Cherry flavour and what is in it

The powder is flavoured with natural cherry flavour and sweetened with xylitol and stevia (rebaudioside A). Other ingredients are citric acid, guar gum and xanthan gum. It is free from synthetic colours and preservatives, and from milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanut, wheat, soy and sesame. The brand also lists it as vegetarian and gluten-free.

How to use

For children aged 2 and over, add 3.8 g (about one teaspoon) to 4 fl oz of water or juice once daily.
