M1-108A Extended Performance Oil FilterMobil 1 M1-108A Extended Performance Oil Filter

Designed to keep engine oil cleaner for longer

The listing describes this Mobil 1 filter as built to hold oil cleaner over an extended period. Paired with Mobil 1 Annual Protection motor oil, the manufacturer says drivers can go up to one year or 20,000 miles between oil and filter changes, which suits anyone who prefers fewer, more planned services.

Inside the filter

Synthetic fibres in the filter media help capture contaminants, and the manufacturer describes the filter as removing more of them than conventional filters. It is also designed to lower resistance to oil flow while improving filtering efficiency. The construction is stated to withstand up to nine times normal system operating pressure.

What the interval claim means here

The one-year or 20,000-mile figure is the manufacturer's statement for use with its Annual Protection oil. Follow your vehicle manufacturer's service schedule and the oil change interval suited to your driving conditions. The pack contains one filter, model M1-108A.
