Each two-capsule serving provides 1 billion colony forming units of each culture, measured at the time of manufacture. Maxi Health lists 14.3 mg of Lactobacillus acidophilus and 20 mg of Bifidobacterium bifidum per serving, with 40 mg of apple pectin alongside.
Built on an enzyme base
Like other Maxi Health products, the capsules use the brand's EnzymaX base of calcium carbonate, bromelain, papain and silica. The manufacturer describes the formula as non-dairy, non-GMO, vegetarian and doctor formulated, and states it is certified kosher and halal.
