Slide this holder onto the handle of a hot skillet to lift and move heavy pans with more confidence. The non-slip silicone gives a secure hold, which helps when you are carrying a full cast iron pan from hob to table or oven. It is made for Lodge skillets with a keyhole handle.

How to use

Slide the holder onto the keyhole handle of your skillet and grip it to lift, move and carry the pan. Take it off afterwards and wash it or place it in the dishwasher, then store it in a drawer.

Before you choose

The manufacturer's own text quotes different heat limits, 500°F in one place and 450°F in another, so please use the lower figure of 450°F as your guide. It is designed for skillets 9 inches and larger and may not fit smaller pans or other handle shapes. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
