Nutritional Yeast FlakesKAL Nutritional Yeast Flakes, Wonderful Nutty, 340 g (12 oz)

Flakes to stir into food and drink

These nutritional yeast flakes are a food ingredient with a nutty, roasted flavour. They dissolve easily and can be mixed into stews, casseroles, soups, broths, gravies, protein drinks, juices and milkshakes, or sprinkled over salads, yogurt, cottage cheese and peanut butter.

Primary grown, not brewed

KAL states that its yeast is primary grown on molasses rather than coming from the brewing process, so the flavour is the natural nutty one rather than the bitter note of traditional brewer's yeast. The flakes are unsweetened and fortified with B vitamins. The label describes the flakes as premium vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, from a brand trusted for quality since 1932.
