Five colour points across the range

The chart gives colour matches at 0, 150, 200, 400 and 500 ppm, so you can see whether a quaternary ammonium solution sits at the strength the chemical maker specifies. It is suited to multi-quat, broad-range quaternary solutions used in food service kitchens and bars.

Spotting a spent solution

Sanitiser loses strength as it is used, and this paper shows when a bucket or sink solution has become exhausted and needs replacing. Regular checks help keep sanitising routines consistent from shift to shift.

Dispenser and roll details

The 15 ft roll sits in a plastic case with a serrated edge for tearing off strips, and the instructions are printed on the case. The QT-40 model comes with its colour chart in the same dispenser, so everything is kept together at the prep station.

How to use

Tear off a strip and dip it in the sanitising solution for 10 seconds. Compare the colour with the enclosed chart straight away. For an accurate reading the solution should be between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit (about 18 to 24 degrees Celsius).

Before you choose

This paper is for testing quaternary sanitiser solutions only, not chlorine or other sanitiser types. Do not store the roll in humid conditions. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
