Inner bark of the North American slippery elm
Slippery elm comes from the inner bark of the Ulmus rubra tree. For this supplement the bark is dried at low temperatures and milled into a fine powder, then used as a 10:1 extract. Each tablet is stated to provide 2000 mg.
A short, simple formula
Alongside the bark extract, the tablets contain only bulking agents (microcrystalline cellulose and dicalcium phosphate) and anti-caking agents (magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide). There is no sugar, colour or flavouring on the list, and the tablets are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
