Brewer's yeast is a single-celled fungus traditionally used to ferment beer and bread, and here it is pressed into tablets. The yeast is listed as Saccharomyces cerevisiae and/or Saccharomyces pastorianus. The manufacturer describes it as a natural source of B-complex vitamins and minerals, including chromium, as well as fibre and selenium.

Two tablets with a meal

The daily serving is two tablets, ideally taken with food. The tablets have no artificial colours or preservatives, and Horbäach states they are vegan and vegetarian friendly and suitable for men and women.

Four months in one bottle

With 240 tablets in the bottle, there is enough for around four months at the stated serving. The bottle measures about 3.4 x 11.4 x 19.6 cm, and the manufacturer notes packaging is being updated.

How to use

Adults take two tablets a day, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the stated dose.
