Product details
Mini algae wafers for bottom-feeding fish
Hikari Tropical Mini Algae Wafers are a smaller disc-shaped diet for plecostomus and other algae-eating bottom feeders. The plant-based formula has a high level of vegetable matter.
The disc shape is designed to hold together in the water.
Key features
- High in vegetable matter that algae-eating fish prefer
- Sinking wafer for herbivorous bottom feeders
- Described by the manufacturer as a balance of vegetables and proteins
- Will not cloud the aquarium water, according to the manufacturer
- Disc does not dissolve rapidly
Size and materials
- Net weight: 3 oz (85 g)
- Form: sinking wafer
How to use
Feed no more than your fish will fully eat within two hours. Many bottom feeders are active at night, so feeding late in the day or at night works best. Avoid overfeeding and remove uneaten food afterwards.
