Original Pellet Non-Clumping Paper Cat Litter Fresh News Original Pellet Non-Clumping Paper Cat Litter, 5.4 kg (12 lb)

A paper alternative to clay litter

Fresh News pellets are made from recycled paper and give cat owners a non-clumping option for the litter tray. The manufacturer says the pellets have almost three times the absorbency of clay, and they are biodegradable when composted.

Soft underfoot with less dust

The pellets are soft for paws and, according to the manufacturer, over 99% dust-free, which keeps the area around the tray tidier. Baking soda is added to help with odour control.

What comes in the pack

You get one 12 lb bag of pellets made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper. The baking soda is mixed into the pellets themselves, so odour control comes built into the litter rather than as a separate product.

How to use

Pour the pellets into a clean litter tray to a good depth and place the tray in a quiet spot. Scoop out solids as needed and tip out and replace the used litter, then wash the tray before refilling.

Before you choose

This litter does not clump, so it suits cleaning by removing solids and changing the litter rather than scooping clumps. See the directions on the pack for use. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
