Enzymes and alkaline minerals in one capsule

pH-Basic combines five digestive enzymes with mineral salts, including potassium and sodium bicarbonate, and calcium and magnesium sourced from algae. Enzymedica describes the formula as designed to help maintain the body's pH level and to support enzyme use. A 40 mg herbal blend of marshmallow root and papaya leaf is also included.

Two ways to take it

The label gives two separate directions. For pH maintenance, one capsule is taken at bedtime with a glass of water; for occasional digestive discomfort, one capsule is taken on an empty stomach between meals. The brand suggests using it alongside its pH test strips, which are sold separately and are not part of this item.

What comes in the bottle

The bottle holds 90 vegan capsules, one per serving, in an HPMC shell with rice bran. The label lists no casein, crustaceans, eggs, fish, gluten, milk, nuts, sesame, shellfish, soy or wheat, and no artificial colours, fillers or flavours. The listed pack measures about 10 x 5.2 x 5.1 cm.

How to use
