PearlDragon Herbs Pearl, 500 mg, 100 Capsules

Pearl powder in a plant-based capsule

Dragon Herbs offers pearl as a traditional Chinese tonic ingredient, prepared by a levigation process and sold here at 500 mg per capsule. The label notes it contains calcium, zinc and trace elements and comes from an oyster.

Capsule and serving details

The capsule is pullulan, a water-soluble plant polysaccharide that is gluten free and non-GMO, alongside rice powder, bamboo extract powder and a rice extract blend. The suggested serving is two to three capsules, two to three times a day.

How to use

Take two to three capsules, two to three times a day, or as directed by a health care professional.

Before you choose

Because the pearl comes from an oyster, check the source if you avoid shellfish or other marine ingredients. The label is brief, with a keep-out-of-reach-of-children warning only. Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
