This R.E.D Blemish cream is designed to hydrate and calm dry, sensitive skin, and Dr. G describes its key ingredients as naturally derived. Glycerin, niacinamide and betaine sit high in the ingredient list, with ceramide NP, panthenol and allantoin further down.

The five parts of the cica complex

The 5-Cica Complex combines madecassoside, madecassic acid, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and centella asiatica extract, all linked to the centella plant. Sodium hyaluronate, macadamia seed oil and phytosphingosine complete the formula.

Size and packaging

The cream comes in a 70 ml (2.36 fl oz) size, supplied in what the brand calls a Cica paper package. The boxed product measures about 7.6 x 6.5 x 6.4 cm.

Apply an even layer and pat gently so it absorbs.
